25.12.05Owner didn’t allow me to stay because we had an argument when I booked two nights and agoda did separate nights, I left my stuff in room to come back after work and find room is taken and I can’t get my stuff. I had to call the police and later they found it. Very dishonest owner who thinks they can get to cancel reservation whenever they want to.
25.09.07NO BREAKFAST WHATSOEVER. Terrible coffee with powdered creamer & sugar 6-9am. No coffeemaker in room, no iron, no closet, no extra blankets.
Staff immediately switches to Hindi whenever a customer is present.
Sheets are clean-ish. Everything is OLD and filled with burns, holes, etc.
Nothing is truly clean nor new. Blankets have been washed so many times they are rough and pilled all over.
Walls are stained in every room, pieces missing from baseboards and bathroom tiles.
Good points: not the place where I got CHOMPED by bed bugs. That was the Days Inn/Rodeway in Bloomington in early August in room ***, which is the FIRST FLOOR. That place used to be 2 buildings so the rooms are ALL misnumbered.
Beds and pillows are nice and soft. They seem to be the only thing from as recent as the 20th century. TV is decent and better channels than most.
The clients do not seem to be SKETCHY like at Days Inn even though both seem to live there long term. Area nice, safe, well located whether you are driving, walking, biking or Ubering to restaurants, universities, relatives or sites.
Front desk guy is not nice. He seems to be son of owner so he works there 24/7. If you have any sort of discount he already hates you.
Also, there is ZERO vending. The area that is supposed to be for the breakfast they don’t have has a locked cooler with about 6 choices and the desk itself has some bags of chips but you have to call the guy to the desk and wait to purchase from him.
Stop at the Qik gas station across the road instead.
Rooms do have tiny microwave and mini fridge if you don’t mind using the sink to wash everything first.
Place ONLY for us types who have to go in and out of town a couple of times a month or so AND who can’t afford the extra $15-25+ for a better, half decent place that doesn’t lie about breakfast and treat paying customers like THEY are the shady/annoying ones.
