22.10.11Although this hotel was clean and looks like the flooring had been recently replaced. The rest of the place needs a refresh. The chair in the room was ripped, the bathroom fan was there but didn't function, there was a rocker light switch that didn't do anything. The hotel is right off a highway, so it's quite noisy, so be prepared to run the fan all night. The wallpaper was coming up. The breakfast buffet was mostly donuts/pastry but was empty most of the time. The coffee also was not full, usually 1 of the 3 pots would have some in it but they were not kept full. I will say the staff was great! They had 1 person working the hotel when he got there on a Friday night. That person was checking people in, dealing with a plumbing issue and trying to direct people to their rooms. She did great. One suggestion to Wyndam, is if there are dogs in a room, that you put a magnetic sign on the door of that room. To advise housekeepers and other people walking by that there is a dog (s) in the room. We had someone that had a couple of large dogs in the room, when the person left the room the dogs barked and barked. Luckily we were already up but I was wondering how the housekeeper knew to beware of the room.
