24.07.31I had come to Dickinson, TX from Glendale, AZ for my stepmother's funeral. I had a 5 day stay and the location was very close for all the events I needed to attend. There were a number of places to grab some fast food literally within 100 feet from the front door of my room and it was fairly quiet for a good night's sleep. The front office staff, Patel and Robbie, and the back-office staff, Mary and Richard, were all very nice as were the husband and wife cleaning up service team who kept the room clean, linens fresh and the necessities filled every day. If I have need for a hotel to stay in Dickinson, TX again, I will check for a room here first and book it if available. Thank you to all the staff who helped make a nice place to stay during a difficult and emotional time in my life.
24.06.13If you stay here, also prepare to get a chiropractor. Bed frame was a cheap piece of metal that leaned and the mattress was a 4 inch piece of foam. So prepare to also pay for a chiropractor afterwards. I'm currently six days post stay and my back is still in knots and super tense. The floor would have honestly been more comfortable.
I found hair that wasn't mine everywhere from the bathroom to the vanity to the bed.
The non smoking room had a weird stale smell.
The drawers of the dresser were dirty and likely hadn't been cleaned in weeks or months.
And upon check in, there was an unexpected mandatory deposit even though the hotel had been paid for in full several days prior.
I expected better from a Days Inn and from a Wyndham property having stayed at them before.
Save your money and stay somewhere else. Spend the same amount or a little more on a different property because the overall experience here was less than preferable.
This was THE single worst hotel experience I've ever had in my 30+ years.
