Location: Spectacular view of the 5 streets historical buildings, many restaurants to choose within the building (although it’s pricier). Walking distance to CBD and shopping malls.
Spacious: we stayed in the 2 bedroom/2 bathroom suite and we had lots of room for the kids to run around.
Breakfast: same food everyday, small but reasonable selection of western, Chinese and Japanese foods.
Cleanliness: daily housekeeping available. Some staff will clean the house more thoroughly than others.
In-room facilities: rooms are a bit dated, shower heads probably need to be replaced, mould in areas within the bathroom is common, mould stains around aircon vents . The baby cot is sturdy and comfortable, not like the commonly used travel cots in hotels. Kitchen appliance are near new and works well- including fridge and washing machine. We chose a non-smoking floor but if you turn on the aircon, you can still smell cigarettes.
Hotel facilities: very large gym area and swimming pool, but it’s not exclusively for hotel patrons only, so you are sharing with the public. Swimming pool is often used for classes, so you need to be aware of which lane is available for use.
