Great value for money. The room was very clean, and the staff was very friendly. A microwave and paid laundry are available. Nijo Castle and the Imperial Palace are nearby. Complimentary toiletries, razors, coffee, and tea are provided. The bed was a bit hard for me.

We stayed for 6 nights, it is a good place to stay, location wise its good, the sanjo market is just a corner away from the hotel, bus stop is like seconds walk, there is a 24 hr restaurant called nakau where we eat most of our breakfast. Overall its a good place for the value of money, staffs are friendly and accomodating, the amemities are good as well. The only problem that we encounter is the bed is not soft, it is really hard hard, so it's not comfortable for us to rest after a good amount of walking that we did in kyoto. Nevertheless, I would recommend this hotel for travellers who are on a budget 🙂.

Good for the price you pay for. Breakfast is very simple as breads collected from a close local bakery shop.
