22.10.25This was my first time in a modern/western style Ryokan with a private onsen and I absolutely loved it. Being a foreigner, the private onsen in the bathroom was an absolute luxury. The rooms were spacious and spotless, had a serene view of trees and very comfortable beds. Service was fantastic as well! Although the staff spoke limited English, they tried very hard to make us feel welcomed. The dinner served was in my opinion the standard of a Michelin star restaurant. Best beef steak I've had in my life! The Japanese style breakfast was also very good! The price per night might be considered very high for a night's accomodation, but if you see it as a whole experience, like when paying for an all included cruise package, it is of good value. Definitely would stay here again when I return to Hokkaido for a holiday.
22.02.16 My husband and I had such a wonderful time here. The facilities were immaculate and the staff were incredibly attentive and professional. We had to ask for some changes, and they showed gracious flexibility. If you go to Hokkaido you won’t go wrong staying here. 10/10 recommend.
