Riviera Motel

Our room had a refrigerator and microwave, but no coffee maker or hair dryer. It was clean, but pretty basic. There's a Starbucks right down the street and Disneyland is within walking distance. For $20 they will let you park there in the morning and return to check in at night, which is half price compared to a Disney lot. We spent almost no awake time there, so we didn't need the frills anyway. I'd probably stay there again.

This is one of the cheapest hotels within walking distance of Disneyland, which is nice, but everything else was terrible! Rock hard bed, one thin blanket, sheets don’t even fit the bed so you’re basically sleeping on the mattress cover. Bathroom is terrible. Amenities were minimal. Nothing about this place was enjoyable.

Bugs, tweakers and dirty

Very basic motel. Room smelled very strongly of disinfectant when first entering. Whilst there was nothing completely untoward about my stay, I simply cannot "recommend " this motel. It is very close to the Walgreens on the corner, as well as some restaurants. Best way to describe this motel is tired and run down. The mirror in the room had graffiti etched into the glass. The tiled bathroom has cut marks ungrouted surrounding the recessed toilet paper holder. The toilet paper holder had corrosion that simply had not been cleaned with a cloth. The shower head, made of plastic, had hard water build up visible. There was evidence of black mold in the grout surrounding the bathtub. The shower curtain did look very new. The fitted sheet on the bed was too short for the mattress, leaving a foot length short at the bottom. The thin brown comforter on the bed had a cigarette burn in it. The door does not have weatherstripping. This may be why other guests have mentioned cockroaches, although I saw no evidence of any infestation. The standard of the paint job in the room was poor. The plastic clothes hangers were mismatched. Whilst I do applaud recycling/reusing plastic hangers, it looked quite tacky. One of the employees was walking about in his pajamas when I checked in, looking very unprofessional.
