Location is safe , you can walk around Lombard st. Motel is near near to all attractions. Will stay here again when we visit San Francisco

I just wanted to get a good night's sleep. That didn't happen. There was a lot of street noise and periodically a loud motorcycle or whatever would blast down the street. The parking was right outside the room and you would also hear car doors slamming. The room above me thought it was a good idea to stay up until 3 am walking around sounding like they had ski boots on. There wasn't any loud music or partying going on but you could just hear everything around and sound proofing seemed minimal for the room. I turned on the fan in the bathroom and the a/c to try to minimize the noise but sleep was minimal. The room was clean and the property felt safe and secure for parking a car. Everything seemed to work properly in the room but the WIFI was super slow. I wouldn't expect to stream anything in the room. I'm just used to sleeping where it is very quiet and this was not it.

We stayed there for 2 nights, when you just enter the room there is a strong smell but after a while you get used to it. They left us an unfinished toilet paper and a used hand soap. Towels, sheets and room were clean tho

No major issues. Some noise at night, but that's to be expected.
