25.12.27Kamiaizuya is a retro and charming Ryokan run by aunties and grannies that will take care of you like you're family. Food is relatively simple but tasted like home cooking - comforting and highlighted the natural essence of the freshest local ingredients.
There are some minor inconveniences associated with the age of the property - insulation and heating might make you notice the cold if it's freezing outside. But I'll still patronise kamiaizuya because of the warmth of the staff and the historical charm of the place.
25.12.15 Everything was great for the price we paid. The only downside was that the shower pressure was so low that my boyfriend who couldnt go into the public bath, had to endure trickling shower. We told the hotel about this issue but all they did was apologise. It would have been nice if they could have dealt with the problem.
25.04.02 We received the kindest welcome to Shiobara onsen from this Ryokan. Highly recommended to book this accommodation with their exceptional breakfast and dinner courses. The service was attentive and polite, we felt very cared for during our stay.
