Motel 6 Phoenix, AZ - East

Non smoking rooms smell distinctly of smoke. My blanket had a cigarette burn in it. Worst of all you are informed by staff that there is no working Wifi at the property..which I was told was happening for about a month. Also the pool is locked. I was told by my Uber driver that might be related to the homeless people staying at the motel using vouchers. That the management might be disabling the wifi and locking pool in relation to this. Either way the attitude about the wifi was terrible. I was informed no discount was available because of the inconvenience and Motel 6 was basically in the clear because they had a shoddy little piece of paper in the lobby saying there is no Wifi.

The facility overall needs some work and updating, but it is certainly worth the money! It is clean and the staff are friendly and efficient. If you're looking for a place that is inexpensive and close to the airport this is your place to stay!
