This is the first review I have ever written - because I feel so disappointed in our experience. Upon arrival, the building itself looked rundown. When we reached our room (Nasu), it was as if we had literally returned to the 80s — the furnishings were dated, worn down, and the bed cover and carpet were visibly dirty. It looked nothing like the photos that we was on the hotel listing that we expected when booking. We only stayed 1 night and the concierge, dinner and breakfast were pleasant, so we were just going to let it go and forget the night of our trip, but as we were leaving to check out, we walked past other rooms with their doors open and realized that ours was the only one that was horrible! The other rooms were newer, clearly had been renovated and upgraded. Overall, a very disappointing experience both in terms of the hotel itself and the misleading information on Agoda.
