26.05.22Staff are so accomodating and helpful. Always ready to attend to our needs. Delicious variety of breakfast options, including fresh fruits. Good location. Just a few steps away from a TP bank atm, Phuc Loi Stamps Shop, and a lot of Spa. Hotel has an elevator and a small garden at the 6th flr. I am just not sure if it was the hotel owner who even prepared us packed breakfast because we had to check-out at 5am for our flight back to the Philippines. So thoughtful.

26.04.09 We had a wonderful stay at Golden Sun Hotel. Its location is one of its biggest highlights—right in the bustling streets of Hanoi’s Old Quarter, making it incredibly convenient for shopping, dining, and truly immersing yourself in the local culture.
The hotel is situated directly in front of Hoan Kiem Secondary School, which makes it very easy to find, especially when booking rides through Grab.
The staff were exceptional—Hải and the female staff member were both fluent in English, making communication smooth and hassle-free throughout our stay.
They offer a great buffet breakfast with a variety of options, and you can also order from their menu, which includes delicious Vietnamese dishes like pho and other local favorites.
Our room was well-lit, clean, and comfortable, with reliable hot and cold shower facilities. Everything was well-maintained, contributing to a very pleasant stay.
Additionally, the hotel offers convenient services such as tours to Ha Long Bay and Ninh Binh, as well as airport transfers, which made our trip even more seamless.
Overall, we highly recommend Golden Sun Hotel for its excellent location, friendly staff, and great value for money.
