Unfortunately, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I have encountered.
From our first night, we already reported several issues, including a noisy and poorly functioning air conditioner, unpleasant odor in the room, dusty conditions, and an extremely small and cramped layout. The room felt poorly maintained and uncomfortable for an extended stay.
The hotel acknowledged our concerns and promised to transfer us to a different room on the third night. However, the replacement room was practically the same configuration and had an even stronger stale odor. We were disappointed that the transfer did not resolve any of the issues we had raised.
Other concerns included a clogged lavatory, slippery bathroom floors, mosquitoes inside the room, and a bathroom layout that felt unsafe due to the very limited space. Cleanliness and maintenance standards were below expectations.
What made the experience even more disappointing was the attitude of one of the reception staff members, who was rude, raised his voice, and handled our concerns in an unprofessional manner. When we decided to check out early due to the inconvenience, we explained our reasons to the staff. Unfortunately, we did not receive any apology or acknowledgment of the issues we experienced.
The only positive aspect of this hotel is its location, which is convenient for shopping and transportation in Myeongdong.
As a frequent traveler and Agoda customer, I understand that hotel rooms can vary, but basic cleanliness, proper maintenance, and respectful customer service should never be compromised. Sadly, this property did not meet those standards during our stay.
26.05.28 Amazing hotel, would stay there over and over because is in the middle os shopping, prices are very affordable and super clean.
26.05.25 Room is too small even for 2 people. Cleanliness is fair. TV is not smart TV and all programs are Korean. You can not watch YouTube or Netflix. Toiletries are limited not providing toothbrush and tooth paste unlike in Japan with same level. In fairness to the location I would say good enough because it is located in the middle of Myeondong night life. If ever I would visit again, probably I'll find another hotel.
