26.04.12This stay was exceptional.
I extended my visit by one night because leaving felt premature. If my schedule allowed, I would have stayed longer.
The entire experience felt intentional and elevated. The ryokan, the onsen, the food, and the surrounding nature created a calm, immersive environment. Being so close to the rabbits made it even more special.
What stood out most was the staff. Every interaction felt genuine. The team was attentive, kind, and thoughtful in a way that is rare. One receptionist, whose name I regret not remembering, made a strong impression with his warmth and professionalism. Another team member spoke Spanish and made me feel even more at ease.
This place delivers more than accommodation. It creates a feeling.
I will return.
26.04.04We wasn't expecting anything since this is the only hotel on the island with rabbits n abandoned poison gas factory. However, we are pleasing surprised by the number of history ruins to see, electric bike to rent for round island cycling, cute rabbits in their natural habitat and nice island view. Will definitely come back again.
26.02.09Our room had a beautiful ocean view. Many rabbits living on the grounds in front of the hotel. Dinner and breakfast buffets were excellent. Also two public baths in the hotel. Nearby poison gas museum also interesting.
TIP: Don’t buy a bag of rabbit food(pellets) in the shop where you buy your ferry tickets. There is another small shop next to the restrooms outside that is cheaper.
26.01.05What a wonderful place! The hotel is a bit dated but has great bones and dedicated staff. The island is a gem!
