Almost no sign in English at the front to mark the hotel, except rely on goggle. Clean & quiet. Courteous & helpful staff. They changed my smoking room to a non-smoking when I showed how uncomfortable I was even with the air filter. Close to the omachi market, big castle & garden. Easy stroll to samurai districts and a touch more to the geisha.

The accommodation is reasonably priced, well located(though our view was of the back parking lot not the park), and staff are generally friendly enough. The title given is on the topic of a pretty key amenity when traveling with a year and a half old, Air Conditioning. The day we arrived it was a hotter day in spring and so we turned on the AC but to no avail, seemed to be merely running and blowing some air about but not cooling. Brought this issue to the staff the next morning, and they seemed baffled by this instance. We were told that the nights were usually cool and we should open the window and come back if that didn't work. We already were doing this, opening the window(no screen, so several misqutios came in during or stay) and the AC had been to no avail, and when the rain came in, it did infact cool down. Had the weather remained warm though our situation surely would have been more of an issue. So this is just a heads up to any travelers going this way as the hotel itself doesn't seem to have much of an intention to address this issue.

I loved my stay here! A small yet clean and convenient room. The one drawback is that there were not very many outlets, but I was able to make do. The hotel is in easy walking distance from Kenrokuen and other Kanazawa main attractions. The front desk was super kind and friendly and even gave me some good local recommendations. Thank you :)
