In addition to being convenient because there are supermarkets and convenience stores in the vicinity the prefecture's largest beach is located a 10-minute walk away.

Because it is close to the high-speed interchange and easily accessible from the Kansai area it is often used as a base for traveling to Shikoku and visiting islands.
