26.05.01As a student of U. of Otago (22 years ago) and a-now tourist, I totally recommend this hotel for refreshing your mind and soul at St. Clair beach. I came with my friend from Thailand with a rental car, so this hotel is most convenient.
The room was acceptable (a bit small for a double and a single beds) But we totally understood with loads of tea, coffee, sugar bags provided hahaha.
It shoud have had a common room and a kitchen. This will be totally preferable :-)
26.04.22 Not only was the whole wall facing the carpark mostly single glazed glass - the rest of the wall was a single sheet of thin material and there was actually a hole about an inch across that the cold wind blew through all night. The staff member we told about it was apologetic, but nothing was done about it
26.04.14 I have stayed here several times now and enjoyed each time. Very comfortable beds and great meals at the Hotel on site. Fantastic service as well. Thanks and I'll be back
