24.08.26The rooms are small but still plenty plenty of space and idea size and proce for the single light traveler. Its an old building that has been upgraded , so the bath and showers are real nice and updated.
That real nice. king mattrees is comfortable. There is not coffee pot in the room , but if you bring some instant coffee, like I do, you can just go to the lobby where they have a large kettle of hot water.
The first night I had a room where the air con didnt cool and the bathrooms were old and outdated.
But the nice receptionist put me in another room that had cold air and new upgraded bathroom, everything spotless clean so everything worked out just right.Book a back room on a higher floor and you will have not have road noise issues. The hotel is located across the street from a big food court and food vendors are plentiful up and down the street and there are 2 two 7 Elevens down the street a few blocks , one to the left and one to the right of the hotel.
One 7 eleven has 2 ATM machines out infront of the store. Keep in mind thst the street is real narrow and not many sidwalks to walk on.
The street has many little restaurants, 4 washaterias, nail salons , hair salons, and small pharmacy. There are nice modern massage parlors, fruit stands and a little dime store ,a small hardware store and a dental office.
The hotel is about 5 blocks away from a Lotus shopping center, which a bigger version of a super walmart.
Right across from Lotus shoppng cener is a nice fashion mall and on the other corner is a Burger King.
Plenty of beautiful modern malls in the area .
Also Metro is right there so you can navigate around the city.
So this hotel has all the conviences you need on just this one street alone.
All and all , if you are on a budget and looking to save some money, then Solo Express is a really good place to stay.
