I was blown away by the value of this place. Its walking distance to everything in ubud, but its so quiet. The rooms are great, everything i needed. Breakfast is amazing, and the pool was perfect to wind down each day. The staff are so welcoming and accomodating, i highly reccomend Ala's!

This is so far my favorite hotel that I booked in Bali — great value for money and such a peaceful stay. The hotel is very spacious. They even gave me a free breakfast takeaway when I told them I’d be leaving early in the morning and wouldn’t be able to eat breakfast there.

Not an ordinary homestay, i receive it as a new kind of experience, though they have very decent rooms and comfy beds but property got a different vibe altogether. For eg, It's so silent in the night that it feels a bit spooky :) I stayed upstairs in a deluxe room, and had to go up and down several times as my kids and mom were in a separate room downstairs. Several busts and statues here and there make it a bit scary in dark.. wow i feel a chill in my spine as im writing this review. It is Balinese to the core & you will immerse in a deep understanding of this beautiful culture after staying here. Yeah a few gaps here & there, for eg pool is not super appealing here like it is in a hotel or a resort, very limited breakfast options. Don’t expect a super attentive staff after 8.30 - 9 pm as host here sleeps early, though they are available if you really need them. But its a doable option as the experience here is very indulging and natural, astounding and memorable for many years to come. No doubt i will choose it in a blink of an eye again as silence suits me. Though my kids are a but wary of it :) Also if you gonna experience ubud for a few days and dont want to spend much on a stay, this could be a reasonable option for you. Its a silent property, very calm & relaxing among chaos of Ubud which is just a half a KM away. I’m sorry if I confused you 😂

We booked three nights at this hotel, the positive about this place was breakfast, unlimited coffee and spacious rooms. The negative was a major leak in our room causing a huge amount of dampness, the fridge in the room was disgusting, Roten fruit was left inside the fridge and the pool was more of a garden pond. Overall I felt that this property was overpriced compared to others in the area.
