24.06.29Terrace Resort 8 was ideal for our couple of days in Okinawa. If you’ve rented a car, you can get pretty well anywhere on the island! The room was comfortable, clean, and all listed amenities worked well. There’s a few restaurants within walking distance, but mostly you’d have to bus/drive/taxi to places. The staff are nice and helpful. Overall we enjoyed our stay!
24.07.01 This venue advertises itself as a resort !! ha ha. We paid good $ in good faith for "Resort" accommodation, only to find on arrival it's nothing more than an unattended, self admission backpackers/guesthouse from the carpark. It's quite a way away from any shops, restaurants, or bars etc and is very deceptively promoted. We did not set foot in our advance paid room, and wrote to Agoda that same afternoon, feeling adrift in a strange land expressing our disgust and requesting a complete refund, ... to which we have only had an obligatory acknowledgment to our complaint with them saying "we've escalated your concern, and to be investigated". .... And, 13 days later, NOTHING !! The venue promotor's have grossly betrayed our trust, and we're calling YOU out. Please contact me so that we can use a bit of common sense and resolve this, - you've already spoilt an otherwise great Okinawa experience by us having to quickly re-locate. We feel completely let down, and further betrayed by your non-communication. Phil Blackwell
