Lovely view from room. Good facility like swimming pool and hot spa for kids and adults

Peter is a wonderful host, and I couldn’t recommend Anchorage Resort more highly. We stayed for three nights and it truly felt like a home away from home. The apartment is fully equipped, and the outdoor BBQ is very handy while the kids are enjoying the heated pool—which makes it even better. The resort also offers bike rentals at an affordable price, which is extremely convenient for families like ours travelling from overseas. Lake Taupō is right outside the resort, with crystal-clear water and Mount Ruapehu on the horizon—an absolutely beautiful setting for a holiday. There is so much to see, do, and enjoy.
