Such a great experience in Kinugawa. The room was in Japanese style. My first experience sleeping on a tatame with beddings provided. Food prepared by the hotel was delicious, onsen was in perfect condition. I just love my stay here.

Choosing Nanaeyae to unwind after a day trip to Nikko was the best decision. The renowned Japanese hospitality began before I even stepped through the door; the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. The Ryokan perfectly balances traditional charm with excellent maintenance. Our room overlooked the Kinugawa River, providing a peaceful, serene backdrop. A highlight was the private kaiseki dinner—every course was delicious, and the host’s personal greeting made the evening feel truly special. Both dinner and breakfast were exceptional. Highly recommended! 日光への日帰り旅行の後、羽衣の宿 七重八重を選んで本当に良かったです。到着する前からスタッフの皆さんの温かいおもてなしを感じることができ、心からリラックスできました。館内は伝統的な趣を大切にしながらも、非常に手入れが行き届いています。 鬼怒川に面したお部屋はとても静かで、景色も最高でした。特に個室での懐石料理はどれも本当に美味しく、女将（またはスタッフの方）が挨拶に来てくださったおかげで、とても特別な時間を過ごせました。夕食も朝食も素晴らしかったです。本格的な旅館体験をしたい方に、ぜひおすすめしたい宿です。

Okami san is very lovely and caring. Staff is very friendly and warm too. Love this place.

A beautiful modern Japanese ryokan, it’s just slightly further away from main area of Nikko ie Toshogu shrine but no problem with a car.
