Would highly recommend staying, so enjoyed our weekend stay, walked everywhere so nice

Great location, motel is walking distance to the CBD and all the shops so very handy. Place is clean and tidy, the staff were very prompt and responsive when we have a request. The rooms are spacious which is great for family and has enough cupboard to hang clothes for those on longer stay.

Pros - Location is superb. Near Kuirau Park and city centre. - Swimming pool and hot mineral bath provided. Kitchen was big and had all the kitchenware + utensils equipped. - Check in was fast & easy + staff was friendly - Room was big & spacious Cons - Specific parking is assigned for each room but not properly enforced. Came back after a long day of travelling to find our assigned parking to be taken by someone else - Empty reception most of the time - had to call / ring / find the person in charge should an issue comes up - Confused with the layout of the room. We book a one bedroom apartment - hoping to have some privacy from our children. But turns out the big bed is placed together with the living room + kitchen + toilet. So, no privacy for us parents. Overall - an ok stay. But personally, would explore other options if we come back to Rotoroa.

We sadly only were able to stay for one night on our trip in January. The hosts are wonderful and so helpful. Our room was the 3 bedroom room. It was fantastic. So much room for all of us. Had a large lounge, kitchen, bathroom & two toilets. They have a great swimming pool & mineral spas. Can’t wait to come back and stay again :)
