The hotel is in a great location, close to all amenities and the ferry terminal, which made getting around very easy. However, the service and staff experience left much to be desired.
There was no sugar or coffee provided in the room, and when I inquired at reception, I was told I needed to buy coffee from the restaurant. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed at the time, and the staff still refused to provide even basic items like coffee and sugar, which felt unreasonable.
The lady at the restaurant, who mentioned she was the owner, was polite but seemed to lack trust. She insisted on payment after every single drink, despite the fact that I was a guest at the hotel and they already had my credit card details on file. This made the experience uncomfortable and unwelcoming.
Aside from these issues, the rest of the stay was okay. The location really is the highlight here, but the overall service could be improved significantly to make guests feel more valued and trusted.
