KKR Hotel Atami

호텔 크고 직원분들도 상당히 친절함.(서비스 교육을 제대로 받으신 느낌이 확 남) 저녁 가이세키도 맛나고, 담당 셰프님 정말 친절하심. 계속와서 설명해주시고 최고. 조식도 다양하고 맛있음. 온천도 노천탕도 좋음. 일본식 방 예약하고 마지막 옵션에 트윈베드 어쩌구~ 선택했다 일본식이 아닌 일반 서양식 룸 배정받은 오해?는 있었으나, 뭐 침대방도 좋아서 괜찮았음. 아타미가면 또 방문할 의사 매우 있음. 잘 쉬다 갑니다.

I felt shunned, because I have four small tattoos scattered around my body. I was told at check-in, that I could not use any of their facilities. Had I known this I never would have booked there! So, I basically had to just stayed in my room. Also, you are not allowed to bring in outside food. It was very judgemental and pretentious.

First of all, I’m so lucky to have booked this hotel during the fireworks period at Atami, the package included dinner and breakfast. KKR has its onsen on the roof floor and it has an open bath that look at the beautiful sea. I did not expect the dinners would be that perfect with such a fair price. I stayed for two nights and both nights I was served with different food with a full menu from starter to dessert! And it serves the infamous kimetai, japanese beef and even abalone. The breakfast is a buffet type served style and it is just on point. The location is about 10mins walk from station down hill (it maybe hard to walk back up), but you can also take a bus just opposite to the hotel, and you can walk down hill to Sun Beach in just 15mins. You can just go there to enjoy the fireworks show. The room is not the cleanest, but it is acceptable, and you can have a seaview with sunrise as your morning call. I highly recommend KKR if you are visiting Atami!
