25.11.06I enjoyed my stay in Florence mainly because of the good hospitality of this luxury b&b/boutique hotel. The traditional elevators in the buildings were part of the interesting appeal, and the receptionists were very helpful in servicing us.
We were provided a room in a nearby building facing the main square, but there was a small hiccup as the centralized heater in the building was broken on my first night there and we couldn't shower because the water was so cold. However, the receptionist quickly responded to our email and sent a technician to fix it first thing in the next morning. We were also offered free breakfast at their partner hotel as compensation, so we really appreciate the gesture. In my trip to Italy so far, the staff here have been the friendliest and most helpful, which has changed my view on Italian hospitality as I was quite disappointed with the service in Rome.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this place to stay for first time visitors because it is very near the Piazza Duomo and other main attractions. Walking along the shopping streets here, especially at night, is a must-try experience and I definitely would visit Florence again in the future.
25.03.30Location can't be beat and the room is updated and comfortable, with kitchen facilities in the common area and the breakfast is a nice buffet conveniently located at a restaurant by Uffizi Gallery, with a fantastic staff and outside seating to enjoy as well (and real honeycomb!).
