26.03.19I'll start with the bad and why I don't recommend it.
1) Upon arrival a 1000 baht deposit was required with no mention of this prior. This should never happen... People should know what they're up for financially, so the hotel failed right there.
2) Hotel was extremely noisy from motorbike racers going all night. Yes it's Patong, but if you want something quiet this isn't for you as they're extremely loud.
Other than that, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and cheap enough. The air con was great and the free water arrived every day.
26.01.24 Very disappointing and misleading experience.
We booked a property called Theera Residency, but there was no hotel by this name at the location. We spent almost 30 minutes searching, only to later find out that the place operates under a different name, which was extremely confusing and stressful after travel.
There was no proper service or staff available. We had to wait around 1.5 hours just to get our luggage taken upstairs. There is no elevator, which was not mentioned anywhere in the listing.
Additionally, they demanded a 1,000 baht cash deposit per room, which was not stated in advance. Even five-star hotels clearly mention deposits beforehand—this was very unprofessional. Had we not been carrying enough cash, this would have been a serious issue.
During checkout as well, there was no staff to help with luggage. At times, it felt like there was nobody managing the property at all. To make matters worse, the rooms had an unpleasant smell.
Overall, this place is misrepresented online, poorly managed, and lacks basic hospitality. Would not recommend, especially to travelers expecting clarity, service, and professionalism.
