24.09.27This is a VERY old motel, in need of significant maintenance and upgrades. They can, however, get away with doing little or nothing because of their location to Yellowstone. Unless you are on an extremely limited budget and NEED to stay close to the park, stay in Bozeman or one of the others in West Yellowstone. Carpet is old and needed replacement 20 years ago. Bring a multi- plug strip, as 2 outlets available. Mattress is old and cheap. More expensive to stay here than Seattle or Vancouver, BC, which are expensive cities.
24.08.14The motel is in a quiet area at the eastern edge of the town, very close to the entrance to Yellowstone Park. The main street and shopping area is a just 5-10 minutes walk away. Clean room, friendly staff. Wifi is a bit weak in my room (ok for checking emails but too slow for Youtube). Powerful air-conditioning. Room rate is competitive compared to other options in town.
25.09.17There was a sign in the bathroom asking to keep the shower curtain in the bathtub which I did, before showering. Went to make a complaint to reception regarding a shower curtain which wasn’t very waterproof as the water from the showerhead went right through and wet all of the bathroom. The old lady at reception who never once even smiled while checking in, completely denied anything like that would happen. She went to the room and I pointed out all the water marks on the carpets from the shower which made it obvious there were leaking issues. She said no one ever raised it before as it wasn’t on her system but she didn’t add my complaint on her system either. then when I told her she wasn’t being honest, she yelled at me and made the rest of my stay completely uncomfortable. I would suggest management replace her with someone more customer focussed
