26.01.26I had a very disappointing experience with this hotel in Milan due to their extremely strict check-in policy. Arriving after 8 PM meant we were simply not allowed to enter or check in at all. While waiting outside the door, there were two other groups of friends in the exact same situation.
What made it worse was that nobody took responsibility or tried to offer a solution. No alternative arrangements, no assistance customers were basically left on the street.
Travelers can easily face delays, and leaving guests outside with no support is unacceptable.

26.04.28Terrible experience at Lepontina in Milan. We stayed there in January and, despite having a fully paid reservation, we were refused entry in the middle of the night. We were left stranded outside with no solution and had to pay for another hotel urgently just to have somewhere to sleep.
The next day, we went back to ask for a refund. We were told it would be processed, but once we returned to France, we never heard anything again. Even after opening a case with Agoda, we never received our money back.
An unacceptable, stressful, and disrespectful experience. I strongly do not recommend this place.
