The hotel and area of Cavtat far exceeded my expectations, everything was super!

Overall, the experience was extremely disappointing and fell significantly below the standard advertised. The property does not meet the expectations of a five-star hotel, despite being marketed as such. Key issues during my stay included: - Poor property condition – The room was dated, worn, and not reflective of a five-star standard - Cleanliness issues – Housekeeping was inadequate; used mugs were left in the room and overall cleanliness was below expectation - Facilities below standard – The gym was extremely poor quality and not in line with a premium property; one of the saunas was not working and facilities appeared unclean - Food quality – Meals were below par and did not meet expected standards - Service issues – I experienced rude and unprofessional behaviour at check-in from Mauro & Ivo and another member of staff. - Failure to deliver requested service – I had requested an anniversary/birthday surprise for my husband, who was arriving during my stay, which was not arranged at all While the location of the property was beautiful, the overall experience was unacceptable and did not align with the listing or expectations set at the time of booking.

Just back from 5 nights in hotel Croatia cavtat, gorgeous hotel, well positioned ( but hilly ). Could not fault the room, hotel, pool, food etc. Only two things that let things down a bit was that there were renovations going on at a property below our room 742, and there was constant jack hammers during daylight, I appreciate work needs done, but should the hotel not have informed me. Secondly, the entertainment.... Fabulous pianist in piano bar, but absolutely nothing after dinner to do, so that was a let down

Everything thing was 5 stars! Although buffet in the evening not the best but food from the restaurants including the steakhouse in the basement?! Was excellent. Brand new rooms. Great cocktails and service at the Piano bar. Massive indoor pool. Great walking in the locale. Lovely and quiet in the town. Glad I didn’t stay in Dubrovnik as it was always packed!
