I reserved Chelsea King room with a garden view. It was clealy marked 'garden view' in the reservation site. On arrival night, I got a room with a street view with a different layout than the photos of the reservation site. I told the receptionist that the room is different from what I reserved. His reply was that there are several rooms in Chelsea King room catagory, and the view is RANDOM. The room described in the reservation website is the best one in the catagory, and someone is using it already. The next day, after I complaint this issue to the duty manager, I got the room I reserved. The layout I exoected with a garden view. You have to make sure whether you get the room you reserved when you make the reservation. They have many styles of rooms and views even under the same catagory. They say assignment is RANDOM. Quite a surprisingly unpleasant experience at a 5 star hotel. To be fair, the people are very courteous and kind. Just their room reservation system is flawed.
