Bamboo Chalets

It has a nice location, you can easily walk with your luggage from the ferry (around 10 min), for other days I am sure mostly everyone rents a bicycle as we did. Renting is available there. Room was clean and nice. Highly recommend booking with dinner cause you can try authentic Creole dishes. Staff was really nice.

We chose this hotel for it's cancelation policy and the price. We don't generally spend a lot of time in the hotel room when we are travelling. So that fact that this place was a no frills stay, was no big deal for us. The room had a small refrigerator, and a comfortable bed. There was plenty of hot water for showers, and the Wi-Fi worked well. They provide beach towels, and the breakfast was good. We walked with our luggage from the jetty. If you don't have too many bags, it's quite doable in 10-15 minutes. The hotel called Stan's Bike Rental for us to rent bikes from for the duration of our stay. I would recommend renting elsewhere. The bikes weren't maintained well. There wasn't a chain guard, so every time I rode the thing I got grease all over my leg. The bikes didn't shift well, and the chain would frequently fall off. So we traded them in for different ones several times.
