It was a good stay I stay only for one night best according to money wise

This shopuld be called york hovel not hoptel. rude receptionist as soon as I walked in. Asked for a cup to have a cup of tea and told me this is a basic hotel. I had to but a kettle and then go our and buy cups just for a simple cup of tea. workman up and down the stairs. The shower was completely blocked with other people hairs overflowing. Two tiny hand towels in room. All very outdate, no TV. JUST BED. Awful I would ask for this hovel to be closed down

Hidden deposits! £100! Absolutely pointless and seems to only be in Ilford!! The rooms are disgusting, they stink! Shampoo only provided and chucked on the table for you. The street outside is full of people shouting till 03:00 every night. The person on the desk barters about the deposit and then staples the bank notes together? The toilet floors are covered in water and no loo rolls present as are the showers which are also covered in pubic hairs and used as a toilet washer as per people’s customs from the Middle East. The only good things are the nice clientele and the proximity to the station. Honestly, don’t stay here if you can help it, better budget hotels exist elsewhere in Essex and London. This is also a semi residential property and people live there. It’s set a benchmark for the worst hotel in the uk anyway. Do you like broken mirrors? Dead flies? Stained carpets? Dead spiders? Stained walls? Broken windows? Lumpy mattresses? This is the place for you! Only thing I can think of positively is the fridge (I didn’t use it and it looked very sad) and the duvet being warm enough and clean. I stayed for one night and left. Never again. The staff ignore you too when you ask them simple questions. Basic grasps of English and hospitality!!
