22.10.23I have to travel to Escondido often for my studies, and I stayed here because it was the cheapest this time. Never again.
There is no advertised microwave nor refrigerator, and I had brought food to keep cold and to heat during the trip. There isn't even a hair dryer, which was horrible. Outlets have been plastered over, so there are few. The sheets looked dirty, there were too few (and small) towels that smelled like mildew, and there are mentally ill people occupying most of the rooms--homeless housing? I didn't feel safe! There were no police nor security, but plenty of crazies out. One loser even followed me as I was walking to my room, asking if I wanted to party, and I ended up running because I thought he was going to rape me. They state "no smoking", but everyone is hanging out outside, doing just that, and littering everywhere. My room smelled of nasty cigarettes, and so did any air coming in. There was one thin blanket, so I ended up sleeping in a jacket. There is no water pressure nor hot water, and the water comes out brown. The sink water smelled of sewer. All of this can be yours for HOW MUCH? Pathetic. The lady who checked me in was wonderful, but that's hardly a reason to ever return.
22.02.28This place is in a bad area judging by the shadiness of the critters hanging out in the parking lot. The doors have a gap all around so USE THE DEADBOLT and for a non-smoking room, well, there were cigarette burns ON EVERYTHING! It was a room to sleep in and not drive in the torrential downpour 1 night.
