Capsule Hotel New Gloria

I stayed at this place last night and it wasn’t bad, but I didn’t really enjoy having to use the Onsen area to shower. There were no showers on the floor where I was staying so I had to shower and then head through the common area and up to my capsule. The capsule was just a wooden box with a light and 2 x electrical sockets. There was no fan or TV, or anything else like other places. It got quite hot initially and then after staying still it started to cool down. There was a lot of noise and it kept me up a bit. It was a Friday night so I assume drunk people coming back from partying were to blame. I did enjoy using the temperature of the Onsen baths, and the bed covers were clean and felt fluffy and comfortable. The hallway between the sliding door and the stairway to the dorms smelt of smoke. I didn’t like that. The staff were lovely and did all they could to help. There were no (or very little English signs around, so I had to use Translation apps to understand things). I probably wouldn’t stay here again, but it was not due to staff that’s for sure. Just facilities and dorm things that need attention.
