시모다 센트럴 호텔

My husband and I decided to splurge a bit for the last day of our anniversary trip. And we're sooooo so glad that we spent it at this hotel ❤️ We had such a wonderful experience here. We both couldn't get enough of breakfast and dinner as there was such a variety of food and it was all super good. The staff were also all so friendly and nice, despite us not being that fluent in Japanese. Our dinner server specifically was even so kind to translate and explain the dishes to us as she served each course. There were also little snacks that they had available in the room and even on the shuttle bus home that were also really tasty. Their onsen was also amazing. Really loved that they had an open air bath too, as it was our first time to experience it. The special milk they offered was quite refreshing after soaking in the onsen. We weren't able to fully explore the hotel as it was quite big. From what we were able to see though, and even with our room specifically, the furnishings were all so nice and well-maintained. We definitely would want to go back again next time we're in Shimoda~ 🎉

Great location for a relaxing vacation. In-room onsen bath was fabulous. Staff was very attentive and helpful, and always very cheerful. We had an amazing stay and would go back again.

My wife and I have been visiting places off the well-known foreign tourist beaten track and this time, we decided on the Izu Peninsula. Our first stop was this wonderful hotel that provided us with an amazing experience all round. The title says it all - top notch service, super helpful & attentive staff, excellently appointed room that came with our own private hot spring bath, sumptiously delicious dining for both breakfast and dinner, plenty of freebies like chocolate flavored milk, juices, coffee. This made for a truly memorable experience and one I'd recommend to anyone!
