26.05.29This guesthouse has two buildings, a main building and an annex. We stayed in the annex on the second floor. The toilet is outside the room, with the private bath on the ground floor, and the washing area is in an open shared space.
As we were a group of three, we reserved a private onsen bath at the main building while check in.
The environment is calm and serene, and there is a convenience store right next door. We also had lunch at the guesthouse, although the menu is limited, the food and drinks were enjoyable.
The staff were polite and even gave us special candies upon check-out. We also enjoyed the swing beside the annex, which was a nice and relaxing touch.
For improvement, the pillow felt a bit too firm for my preference, and the room became quite bright early in the morning due to the lack of curtains, which made it a little harder to continue resting comfortably.

26.04.11The facilities are good and clean, and I especially enjoyed the private bath. There’s a Family Mart right next to it and a few restaurants around the area. It’s still a bit far from Aso Station but there are quite a few public transportation options we can use to get there. I also tried their dinner and breakfast. The dinner was beef curry but too spicy for me. I loved the wagyu sukiyaki for breakfast though, really tasty and fulfilling.
26.03.29We enjoyed the Japanese style room and onsen baths. The location is convenient to nearby Aso attractions, though not close to restaurants. This was fine for us, but would be troublesome without a car.
25.12.25The place was easy to find and there’s parking available. The staff were friendly — the older man and woman couldn’t really speak English, but the younger lady could, so communication wasn’t a problem. The room was clean and tidy. The shared bathroom area was nice, and there’s an onsen in every section. Just a heads-up: in the evening, it can get a bit crowded, so plan your bath time a little early!
