Best Ryokan experience! The staff is super nice and the provided breakfast and dinner is spectacular! The onsen is very peaceful as well! Would love to come back again ☺️☺️

Really lovely place, drove there and was able to find the place after a few misdirections as the hotel name wasn't in English. Was greeted with a delicious dinner by the time I reached Matsumoto after Snow monkey village.

Cute and quaint Ryokan, well worth the money when compared to other accomodations in Matsumoto. The building is showing many signs of age and some of the common area feels a bit dated but the rooms are pretty and clean and the baths are nice. No hair dryers in the rooms but they are available at the bath. Note that Asama onsen is quite a distance from the station and direct busses are infrequent. We ended up renting e-bikes with 'hello cycling' which was a great way to get around, there are stations to park nearby, highly recommended.
