25.02.25Cheaper compared to hotels across the river. Location is convenient and room is clean. Covered parking is provided at the front entrance. I stayed 2 nights half board, with breakfasts and dinners. Food is ok, but can be improved on quality and quantity. I had an enjoyable stay thanks to the very friendly and very helpful hotel manager.

24.11.11We had a great stay here. The hotel by design gives a modest vibe. The staff is really kind and helpful. They go out of their way to support the traveller. The Onsen in the hotel is really nice. If you are a budget traveller looking for all in one experience, then go for this place. The morning breakfast is a traditional Japanese menu served fresh and cooked fresh on the table for you. 5-6 mins from the station. If you are walking, then take the subway on the right of the station once out, and not the main road for a faster route. Eating & shopping spots near by.

특히 체크아웃후 Gero역까지 셧틀버스로 데려다 주신 서비스가 아주 따뜻하고 오래 기억되네요..
26.01.25I booked this property with a high expectation but it turned out to be anything but that. I seldomly write negative feedbacks but it need to be told. 1) There were no hot water in the guest room so my wife was unable to take a bath. Granted there is an Onsen public bath, she is a foreigner and is not accustomed to sharing bath with others. 2) "We were charged additional 400 Yen accommodation tax and 300 Yen Onsen fee . Now, I understand that Onsen fee is a regular practice in most of the Onsen Resorts but I question the hotel accommodation fee. Some of the prefectures in Japan has started this practice but hotel in Takayama, a day before, has not. Both Gero and Takayama are located in Gife Prefecture.. 3) The dinner we were served did not resemble the photo advertised. It was the worst set menu I had in years. On the positive side 1) The waitress (old Japanese lady) who served us dinner and breakfast was so friendly, polite, and very accommodating. She made the day: 2) Since there were very little guests staying, I had the Onsen public bath all to my self and it was very relaxing. they really need to do something about the dinner or they will lose customers.
