26.04.07Great location, lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, nice rooms
26.04.04Good value for money. Staff were excellent, couldn't do enough for you. Breakfast was very good. Room was good, however there was a musty smell in the first room I was allocated, it was on the ground floor. I suspected damp. I was moved to a first floor room with no fuss, which was better. Slightly tired feel about the rooms, but sufficient for my needs. Nice pool area.
26.03.16The curtain had huge spots of mold, and the room felt unbreathable with moldy smell. The staff changed the curtain as I requested but then failed to give the promised breakfast after I changed to their sister hotel. The staff had the most ridiculous attitude when I asked about their breakfast as if it was my fault for wanting to switch out of the room that had made me sick by staying just one night; there is no hand soap, no mosquito net, only met with unprofessionalism and uncleaniless
25.12.03We really like the hotel. Our room was spacious and clean. The room had all facilities which we need - including kettle and fridge. There was hot water in the shower (excluding one evening) and good water pressure. The air conditioning works well. The hotel decoration with plants are beautiful.
The breakfast was delicious. They prepared the box breakfast when we were leaving early for the tours.
The staff were very nice and helpful. They cooperate with a driver Agung. He was great and we did all our private tours with him.
The location is great. Close to the Main Street, the Water Palace, Ubud Palace and the start of the walk to Campuhan Ridge Walk. Less traffic than on the Main Street. A lot of shops and restaurants around.
There is music in the close bar up to 11pm every night. Some nights it is good and nice to listen but on some it sounds like karaoke and we got very tired with it.
In general we highly recommend this hotel and we would definitely stay again.
25.08.09We stayed at Uma Sari in Ubud for one night, and the location is undeniably excellent. It’s right in the heart of Ubud, with the market and plenty of restaurants just steps away on a lively street.
Unfortunately, the room itself was disappointing. It felt old, smelled strongly of mold, and had visible rust in several areas. The bathroom was very small—barely enough space for two people—and was in poor condition, with no hand soap provided. Cleanliness was lacking, and the overall odor in the room was quite unpleasant.
On the positive side, the air conditioning worked well, so we managed to sleep comfortably. However, I wouldn’t recommend staying here—there are plenty of other hotels on the same street that likely offer a much better experience.
