Stayed one night and regretted not staying for longer. Was welcomed by an elderly gentleman who kindly sat me down for a quick description of Hakuba and the surrounding area. He even whipped out a map and circled out areas of interest! Highlight was definitely the outdoor onsen. Private and cosy and chef’s kiss. Can’t complain. Room was cosy, had a private bathroom and shower, and a fridge. One of the rare ensuites at a great price. Come for the onsen, really.

Prime location, great cleanliness and last but not least super friendly and supportive property owner. He willingly took care all of guests with passion, recommend good place where we should visit and super kind to support everything

Really nice and cosy place to stay during winter. However, please drive when you are in Hakuba. It’s quite far from public transport unless you only plan to go skiing everyday.

A very cute little hotel. I didn’t expect to have private bathroom in my room and you can even enjoy hot bath. Our checkin time was pretty late but host waited for us and explained everything in details. He gave us a tour and make sure we are comfortable. It’s sad that he hurt his arm so we couldn’t try the breakfast. I hope he get well soon!

host is showing great hospitality when we arrived, showing us amenity and eatery close by. once knew that we drove, he told us about restaurants that has parking spaces. not expecting an on-site shared onsen, half in door and half outdoor,we got to lock the onsen room once occupied, hence it was a pleasant first time onsen experience to me. location is strategics, less than 5 minutes driving to convenience store, cafes, and about 20 minutes to close by skiiing area. will visit again next time
