City Hotel Nieuw Minerva is located in Leiden’s historic city centre, within walking distance of shops, restaurants, museums and the Central train station. The hotel is established in a 16th century building on a canal and the historical character can be experienced in the classical rooms, unique themed rooms and suites. Our hotel rooms all have a different design. Spend the night in a bed in which Louis Napoleon slept. Fancy you are living in the 17th century, sleeping in the exact copy of Rembrandt’s box-bed, or would you prefer to stay in the former guest room of Mary Servaes, the “Singer Without a Name”?
Experience the personal atmosphere and Leiden’s hospitality in our monumental building. To make a good start to your day you can rely on our traditional breakfast buffet (€ 9 per person). You can enjoy a delicious lunch and/or dinner in the restaurant. In our bar we serve a wide choice of drinks and snacks.
The hotel has two multifunctional meeting rooms which are perfectly suitable for business meetings, parties and celebrations.
