We wanted to experience a more traditional Japanese-style room but needed enough space for a family with three young children. Initially, this place seemed suitable, so I made a refundable booking while trying to confirm whether the room had its own bathroom/ensuite. Unfortunately, the accommodation never responded — neither through Agoda nor via the direct emails I sent well in advance. By the time I decided to cancel, it was too late to find another more suitable option nearby on short notice. In hindsight, I don’t think this accommodation is particularly family-friendly. However, it may be a nice option for couples looking to enjoy a traditional stay and the hot springs. I believe we were placed on one of the older, unrenovated floors, though it seems they do have newer, updated rooms available. Breakfast options were also very limited and needed to be booked in advance. All children are also charged a full adult's rate for the night.

They had a staff that spoke good English and he was very helpful and patient, finding out information that we need. Onsen was also great they have both outdoors and indoors. Breakfast was facing the lake and it’s a traditional style.
