25.11.12Conveniently located 3 min walk from kappa Bridge. Spacious rooms n lobby. Excellent service staff. Great value.
25.11.02 Everything was great. It was not right next to the Kappa bridge it's closed enough just 5-10min walks.
I stayed in the special Western Japanese room, which was huge compared to most Japanese hotels.
5-star staffs. All staffs were super helpful. My sister got injured after treking. We asked for ice and bandage and they do their best to help us.
Public bath was a bit too small and crowded in high season.
25.10.04 We had a good time in Kamikochi made wonderful by the front counter staffs who went extra mile to explain to us on the areas activities and sightseeing. In particular , the gentleman and lady staffs on the 1 Oct 25 morning were very polite, helpful and exceptional! My wife carelessly left her mobile phone in the toilet and the same gentleman staf,f, Mr Takugami looked for us to return! Absolutely guest service at heart . Also , the lady staff who called us. Definitely will stay there when next back in Kamikochi!
25.09.23 The breakfast and dinner are good, and it’s close to beautiful tourist attractions.
25.09.20 The location was within the national park and close to the hiking trails. You do have to bring your luggage a bit of a way (20 min.) along a trail to get to the hotel from the bus station . The taxi service does not go from the bus station to the hotel The staff was very good, the rooms are okay, but the dinner and breakfast were outstanding.
