Hagi Travel Inn

Hotel is near the Higashi Hagi train station. The front desk was helpful. The rooms have lots of extras you wouldn't expect - clothes drying rack shoe horn, robe, shaving cream, note pad and all quite new. I would definitely stay here again when in Hagi.

한국인이면 한번씩 묵었던 호텔임에 틀림없다. 그 이유는 미처버린 가성비! 그런데 요즘 후쿠오카 호텔 가격이 미친듯이 올라서 이제 가성비라고 볼것도 없이 그냥 점점 낡은 호텔의 이미지가 강해진 것 같다. 2인 세미더블룸 기준 방은 작고 욕실도 작으며 낡은 호텔이지만 그래도 모든걸 상쇄하는게 가격이었는데 이제는 평일도 12만원 이상하는 것 같다. 근데 근처 호텔도 그렇게 올라버려서 사실 이 가격도 가성비라고 봐야할지 잘 모르겠다. 울며겨자먹기로 이용하긴 했는데 위치는 다이묘거리 한가운데 있고 바로 앞에 아디다스 및 맛집들 그리고 텐진역 이동하기도 편하다. 가성비를 버린다면 이가격대에 그나마 지리적 위치 때문에 이용하게 되었다. 또한 장점은 모든 어미니티는 1층 로비에서 사용 가능하다. 페이스워시, 클런저, 로션, 스킨 등등 다 무료로 사용 가능하다. 5층에 세탁기랑 건조기가 따로 나눠져 있는데 세탁기 300엔 건조기 100엔인데 건조기 한번에 30분으로 30분으로는 왠만한 빨래량은 잘 안말라서 보통 200엔으로 1시간 건조시키는 경우가 많았다. 넉넉히 500엔 필요! 예전처럼 가성비 호텔로 돌아갔으면 좋겠다!

When arriving to the hotel we were told that our room was not located in the hotel. We were asked to drive across town to another hotel in the same group to check in and hereafter again travel to another destination in town where the room was located. I am happy that we had our own car as I do not know what we had done if we had arrived by taxi or public transport. The room itself was fine, large and clean. But located in a building with just 5-7 rooms and no hotel facilities.

Very old fashioned. I was told check in was 4pm (not 3pm as stated on Agoda) and checkout was 10am. No housekeeping if your stay is two days or less. If you get a room facing the road then it is noisy. No lift. Location is close to Hagashi-Hagi station (about a 5 minute walk) and close enough to a West Loop Bus stop. There is no English name displayed outside of the hotel so make sure you know what it looks like on first arrival. There is not much by way of restaurants near the hotel, just an udon place and a seafood place. Very expensive for what it is. Staff are friendly.
