We stayed at Moon Cottage in Koh Samui for just one night during our trip — and honestly, we wish we had booked for much longer. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was peaceful, private, and incredibly welcoming. The villa was spotless and beautifully designed, blending traditional Thai style with modern comforts. The bed was extremely comfortable, the space was generous, and having our own private pool and jacuzzi made it feel like a true luxury escape. Even in just one night, we were able to completely switch off and relax. The tropical garden setting adds to the charm — it feels like a secluded oasis, yet it’s still conveniently close to restaurants, shops, and the beach, giving you the perfect balance of tranquillity and accessibility. A special mention has to go to Alex, who manages the property. He was fantastic from start to finish — friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. Even though our stay was short, he made sure everything was perfect and gave us some great recommendations. His hospitality really made a difference and elevated our experience. It’s rare to find somewhere that leaves such a strong impression in just one night, but Moon Cottage did exactly that. Next time, we’ll definitely be staying longer. Highly recommended for couples looking for a romantic and relaxing getaway in Koh Samui. 🌺

About a 10 min walk to the beach. Pool area was a mess when we first got there,but was cleaned up later in the week. Our outside sink was subject to flooding from the adjacent room,over all a good stay but not what we had expected.

We found our stay to be a bit mixed. The air conditioning struggled to keep the room cool, which made it hard to sleep at night. There were also staff working very close to the accommodation (on the roof and in the front yard) without any notice, which was a little disruptive at times. We also noticed that some trees and hedges had been cut down or heavily trimmed, which reduced the natural shade and privacy that would have made the outdoor area more enjoyable. On the positive side, the room was spacious and the pool on the deck was a great feature that we enjoyed. With some improvements to the facilities and communication, this place could be much more enjoyable.
