The hotel was clean and convenient for me. The pool was good as was the steam room and sauna though the latter was fairly small. The indoor decor and outside gardens and grounds make it feel a retreat place even it it is very large. The room I was in for one was all I needed. There are some places that are fading a little and a bit of TLC was needed. I stayed for 3 days and with breakfast and dinner as part of the package I can say that this was great value for money.

Having stayed here before, was disappointed with the room view. Advertised and booked as a street view, the room was not but it overlooked a roof space which had all sorts of noisy equipment on it. The bathroom, although a good size, appeared mouldy in places. Only 1 uk 3 pin plug, so it was a fight for a kettle or phone charger. Lots of old round pin plug sockets, most of which I use.
