I was lucky to find this place out of nowhere and it was a lovely stay. Although a note of caution, this place is inaccessible unless you have a car. The ryokan hidden up in the mountains provide a wonderful view of the stream as well as the natural surroundings. the room is heated with what I think is onsen heat powered boiler. The futon was veeeery thick but surprisingly light and comfortable. Onsen is amazing but a little smaller compared to the large ones you find in Kurokawa area but it still provides the outdoor view of the flowing stream. The staff are really some of the nicest people I've met :) Would definitely recommend here!
