I enjoyed the stay!

Good prices during week but weekend rates not so good

Do not stay at this hotel. It is infested with roaches. As you walk down the hallways, if you look at the bottoms of the doorways that go into the rooms, you will see roaches. My room had roaches in the drawer, crawling up the drain, on the walls and on the bathroom counter. In fact, I kept a shoe out special for killing the roaches. The staff is extremely rude and unhelpful. Their idea of taking care of the roach problem is spraying vinegar on the floor mixed with dish soap. IT DOES NOTHING TO KILL OR PREVENT ROACHES. The staff is extremely rude and unhelpful. When complaining to them about my roach problem, management turned around and blamed me saying it’s because I had a lot of things. It is an extended stay motel. When you are staying at place for six months, you are going aquire things. After getting my room changed because my first room was infested with roaches as well. I complained to staff again and all management did was send the hotel manager to my room to try to bully me. The daytime manager insisted that everything in my room was brand new until I lifted up the coffee pot and showed her that it was rusting. Another day, when rebooking the same room because I had no choice I complain to management again and all they did was put their hands up in the air and said I don’t know what to tell you. I have never seen anything like it. The gentleman who works the night shift is rude and obnoxious, and is constantly trying to get you to pay him cash for the rooms. Funny thing about that is that it isn’t to save you any money because he “claims” he is offering you a special deal, it’s always more money than what you’re paying which I think is to put money in his pocket. Explain to me why he would offer to give me a deal on a room if I paid cash that is costing me $100 more than what I already paid? It makes no sense. The manager of the hotel, she is very, very unfriendly and very very nasty and never smiles. She will do nothing for you , don’t run out of toilet paper at this place or need new garbage bags because they will provide you with the barest of necessities and sometimes they will tell you that they can’t help you at all. They’re supposed to have the cleaning lady come in and clean your room every day. Well, had I been able to communicate properly with the cleaning lady (a sweet older lady that does not speak English) I may have been able to convey she was welcome to my room. However, the second I mentioned there were roaches in the room. She stopped knocking on my door. I can’t say that I blame her. The rooms in the pictures that are advertised for this hotel, look nice and new and clean and bright. However, that is not what you get. The rooms are getting to be rundown. They are dirty. The laundry facilities are dirty, filthy and nasty, the two bottom dryers do not work because they do not blow hot air to dry your clothes. The vending machines, which are kept in the same room as the washing machines are constantly empty or not working and management does nothing. The ice machine, which is also located in the laundry room, constantly leaks so when you walk in there to wash your clothes, the floor is always wet. There is garbage on the floor in the laundry room. Even one of the washing machines are falling apart. I’m afraid to use it at a fear of getting electrocuted. On my last day during checkout, while I was packing my things into my vehicle I looked up and saw the biggest rat I have ever seen in my entire life. I am not exaggerating when I say it was the size of a small guinea pig. It was tan and I thought it was a pet, and after looking a little better, I saw it had a 9 inch tail. So not only do they have a roach infestation the hotel does nothing about, it also has a rat infestation. Roaches and rats are very, very unhealthy for children to be around and there are a lot of children at this place.
