Beautifully redone property, low price for area. Only problem is no volume control on TV and shower floor slippery

The room was new renovated and clean. The outside of the inn still needs updating. It’s close to the tanger outlets

When I arrived around 5 PM, I realized that there is no hot water, so after long trip I could not take a shower before going to Wedding event in Riverhead. But stuff promised that at least it will be fixed when I return in the night, but it was not, and stuff mentioned, that it will be done in the morning, but in the morning it was still not. So, I am traveling further dirty. I asked to waive my payment, because no hot water, and initially staff person said, that it should be done because of lack of hot water, and added my complaint to the file, and give me a copy. But then appeared the guy that said that it will not be waived. In my opinion hotels should be accountable for what they offer, and if they are cheating that it will be rapaired, and it was not, they should waive cost of stay overnight. I am professor, so I cannot just travel dirty and stinky.

Great little place, tucked away in Riverhead... it's a drive, but it's worth it, they have a beautiful huge yard, a lake in the back, & if you go down the road a tiny bit, you can rent canoes, in the warmer weather. Great place, great price, & great people! Thank you!

The rooms are quite small, no closets, no luggage stands, not much room for more than the bed. However, it was comfortable and clean. The breakfast "buffet" was sorely lacking. Commerical bagels and cream cheese and that was it. No hot food, but packaged cookies and granola bars to take with you. Staff was very nice.
